2005 Alumni Hall of Fame Honoree

Senior Director of Broadcasting and Video Production, Baltimore Ravens

Eight time EMMY award winner Larry Rosen is in his 6th season as senior director for the Baltimore Ravens, with a multiplicity of areas of responsibility.

Larry heads RAVE-TV, which creates and produces all Ravens television programming, three weekly radio shows, all in-stadium entertainment, and more!

When the season ends, Larry is continuing, well into his second decade, as a play by play voice and host of Atlantic 10 men’s and women’s basketball, and in that role still gets to call a number of Temple games each year.

From 1983 to 1998, Larry served as executive producer, play by play voice, reporter and host for PRISM and Sports Channel Philadelphia, with on-air roles in the coverage of Philadelphia Phillies baseball, Big 5 basketball, and many other Philadelphia sports entities.

Larry also served as the radio voice of the Temple Owls from 1984 to 1990, travelling with the Owls throughout their legendary 1988-89 season as the number 1 team in the nation, and as host and producer of the Temple Football weekly television show in the mid-80s.

Larry began his career as a news reporter for KYW Newsradio, earning national and regional honors for coverage of such major stories as The Move Shootout and Three Mile Island, before moving into sports.

He accepts this honor as a way of showing off for the two shining stars of his life, 12-year-old Sunni and 10-year-old Inde.
