Jon Slobotkin is the producer for all Philadelphia Phillies telecasts for both Comcast Sportsnet (CSN) and UPN-57. He has produced many live sporting events, studio shows, and specials for CSN.
Jon began his television career while a sophomore at Temple. He has produced hundreds of live events including Philadelphia Phillies baseball, Philadelphia 76ers basketball, Philadelphia Flyers hockey, Big 5 college basketball (men & women), college football, minor league hockey, minor league baseball, boxing, tennis, and Major Indoor Lacrosse. He has also produced studio and magazine shows, including the Emmy award winning Broad & Pattison.
Slobotkin also freelance produces and directs for the Atlantic 10 Television network, of which Temple is a member. He enjoys keeping in touch with the basketball program, and that regularly brings him back to campus.
One of Jon’s earliest jobs in the field came courtesy of Lew Klein, at WCAU-AM during the summer of both his junior and senior years of high school.
Jon is a five-time recipient of the Mid-Atlantic Region Emmy award. A winner for live sports events and studio producing. He has also received 25 Emmy nominations for producing, directing and writing.
