Emmy-award-winning creator and actor Quinta Brunson will be visiting Temple University May 7-8. She will be receiving the Lew Klein Excellence in the Media Award on the evening of May 7, and an honorary degree from Temple University on the morning of May 8, when she will deliver a Commencement address.
Unfortunately, the “Student Conversation with Quinta Brunson,” which had been scheduled for the afternoon of May 7, has been cancelled due to scheduling issues. While we are disappointed at that change, we are excited to have Ms. Brunson – who attended the Klein College and got her start on Temple University Television – back on our campus.
A limited number of tickets for the Lew Klein Alumni in the Media Awards event on May 7 will be made available by lottery to students of the Klein College of Media and Communication. Students can apply for those tickets here.
