Rob Czyzewicz is a passionate, high-energy media professional who is already an experienced television producer, writer, videographer and editor. In 2011, Czyzewicz and his friend and former classmate Patrick Rosenbaum co-founded 20/20 Visual Media, a production company now based in Philadelphia.
Just five years after graduating from SMC, the Temple team has created and produced three shows for Comcast SportsNet in Philadelphia, two of which featured Temple University’s football and basketball teams. Those efforts garnered the duo 10 NATAS Mid-Atlantic Emmy nominations, including seven for producing, and one for each creative craft (writing, videography, and editing).
In 2012, 20/20 Visual Media won “Best Program – College Athletics” in the country in the College Sports Media Awards.
Today, he and Rosenbaum work closely with a variety of clients to create videos that promote events, causes, brands and more for distribution on television and web.
Before co-founding 20/20 Visual Media, Czyzewicz worked at Temple University’s School of Media and Communication as the TV Studio Coordinator.
As a student at Temple, he spent the vast majority of his time in Studio 3 in Annenberg Hall, producing and volunteering for Temple Update, Temple’s award winning student newscast. It was there he learned the importance of writing, organization and teamwork. He also directed Temple Smash, an SNL-style variety show created and staffed by students. He and Patrick were the first two employees hired by Temple University Television (TUTV).
Czyzewicz is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Philadelphia Public Relations Association, and he sits on the Philadelphia Academies Inc. Communications & Media Industry Advisory Board. He and Rosenbaum are frequent guest speakers at Temple and proudly mentor several SMC students each year.
